Rum-soaked grilled


This recipe is from EVO Grills.

  • 1/2 C dark rum

  • 1/2 C brown sugar

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1 pineapple, peeled, cored and sliced

  • vanilla ice cream


  1. Mix rum, sugar, cinnamon.

  2. Lay out pineapple rings on a baking sheet.

  3. Pour rum mixture over rings and toss to coat them. Allow to set for at least 15 min.

  4. Remove rings onto a plate and place the rum mixture in a saucepan.

  5. Heat the sauce to a simmer for 6 to 8 minutes. Set aside.

  6. Heat EVO to medium heat. Place pineapple on EVO and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until brown. Remove for serving.

  7. Top each pineapple ring with a scoop of ice cream and drizzle with rum sauce.

  8. Serve immediately.
